I launched CRIMEMOIR STORE to distribute my audiobooks and eBooks

Fun fact: I was so impatient waiting for an audiobook distribution deal that lagged miserably (and which cost me weeks of marketplace exposure) that I created a storefront on Shopify to sell the audiobook myself. It’s called CRIMEMOIR STORE, where the Chained Birds audiobook and eBook are available at the same marketplace prices you’ll find elsewhere. (A great place to buy it if you want to support this author directly 😁)

Although I was initially annoyed about having to do this, I’m now glad I have a place to sell future audiobooks and eBooks. The mechanics work with Shopify’s front end, with its stellar sales interface, and Bookfunnel’s back end, where they send patrons an immediate download link and tech support if needed. I have found the Bookfunnel audiobook app on par with Audible’s, for what that’s worth.

Likewise, I’m impressed with the audiobook apps from Spotify, Google Play, and Kobo—three other places the Chained Birds audiobook can be found.

The eBook is the only version with color images

The only way to see the new “Author’s Cut” 20+ photos, sketches, and prison artwork in COLOR is by reading Chained Birds on a color Kindle or Kobo reader, or via a Kindle or Kobo app on a tablet, iPad, etc. Price-wise, you won’t do better than the eBook at $9.99, so this is the reading version I recommend for both reasons.
